Fulfillment & Shipping Info
Orders placed after 12/10 cannot be guaranteed for Christmas.
IMPORTANT: Fulfillment times are currently extended and do NOT include the shipping transit time. Fulfillment times are ranging between 12-16 business days.
Our fulfillment time includes preparing and packing your order for shipment. Typically our fulfillment lead time is 3-4 business days. If there is a notice about fulfillment times being extended, the estimated fulfillment time will be mentioned in your Order Confirmation email. The fulfillment timeframe is a projected time based on the number of orders that are received and the availability of the products selected. We are a small family business and all of our products are homemade in small batches, with fresh ingredients. Along with fulfilling online orders, we are also working to fill orders for our retailers as well as maintaining our production schedule. Quality = time and we do our best to ensure quality in every step of the process. Where there's dill there's a way!
Our shipping is complicated, and here's why! Our products are refrigerated, so we ship with ice packs to keep the products chilled as long as possible during transit. We DO NOT SHIP ON FRIDAYS, as this would cause our shipments to sit in the carrier's warehouse over the weekend, with no movement or progress to the destination. We ship Monday - Thursday and shipping is planned and scheduled according to the number of days it will take in transit to arrive at the destination. This allows for minimal interruption and the quickest way to get to you via the Ground method. UPS Ground is our default method, however as the customer, you're able to select a faster service for a higher cost. Here's an example of our shipping schedule:
Mondays = 4 day transit or less
Tuesdays = 3 day transit or less
Wednesday = 2 day transit or less
Thursday = 1 day transit only
The cost of shipping is high due to the weight of the package and the distance the package will travel. We are a small family business that does not get the rate discounts like larger companies do, so we offer the best rates that we can. Once the shipment is received by UPS, you'll receive an automatic email notification with the shipment and tracking information. After the package leaves our facility, we are no longer accountable for the handling of the package and its contents. If damage occurs or there is a delivery error of any sort, the customer is expected to contact UPS to file a claim for the issue and contact us with that information. We will work with you to resolve any shipping issue that arises.
